Where do we perform inspections?

Our inspections have taken us throughout California, to cities and counties large and small, as well as nationally within the United States, and even abroad.

What can you expect?

Our inspectors don’t need flashy gadgets and fancy clothes to get the job done. At A Aa Building Inspection Service, Inc. we believe in observation and analysis the old-fashioned way, through careful investigation. The knowledge you need is in the inspector’s head, so please feel free to ask questions at the time of the verbal report.

Before the inspection, be prepared. We suggest you do so by completing the following checklist:

  • Accessible – Ensure the building and all rooms are available and accessible for the time of inspection.*
  • Utilities – Make sure that the water, electric, gas and gas pilots are all turned on. You may need to secure this in writing from the realtor or owner of the property, if you are a prospective buyer.*
  • Research – Provide copies of all building permits, certificates, reports, or orders on file with the local building authorities concerning your property, on the day of inspection.*

*Special Note: If by request, it is necessary to return to the property due to inaccessibility, lack of utilities, or lack of the above mentioned paperwork at the time of inspection, there will be an additional charge.

How long does it take to get the report?

A Aa Building Inspection Service, Inc. provides a detailed evaluation specific to your property on the inspection date, so receiving a quality report is not instantaneous. We also don’t believe in sending your report electronically, because we like to protect the confidential nature of the information contained in your report. This means that you will receive a type-written narrative report, hot off the presses and delivered straight to your door, generally 5 to 6 business days after the date of inspection.  If you’d like the report sooner, special pick-up can be arranged upon request.

I have another question, that’s not listed here!

Not a problem. Go ahead and give us a call, and we’ll answer it as best we can. Remember, our love for people is only second to our love for buildings.
